Things I Love Thursday
Let’s go old school and re-visit stuff I’ve loved previous Thursdays.
- My Lee, who has stuck with me and put up with my whining for ten years. Yup, it was our ten year anniversary on Monday. We celebrated by having dinner at Monsoon Poon and then playing Rock Band. He bought me an electric blanket as a gift. Bless.
- Motivation and Inspiration. These can come in many many forms, but I find I need to be reminded quite often that I am allowed to pursue my dreams. I don’t know if it’s because my days all seem to be running together at the moment and it keeps being Monday morning before I am ready for it but hey, lucky for me, there are people like Tim out there and he gets awesome guests to write awesome posts in between his awesome posts.
- I can’t help but love the simple sadness of this particular Garfield minus Garfield. I think we all know how that feels.
- Gala Darling has a good bit of advice. I think I’m pretty good at seeing people in real life, but we can all use the reminder.
- Ha ha Awkward Family photos, how I love you. scary Santa, The bacon bros and the Cactus family.
Honourable Mentions: Starlight Express this weekend, eeeeee! Buying tickets for the film festival, thinking about Rarotonga, seeing my parents three times in one week, awesome ideas for craft projects, reading good books, my electric blanet + warm duvet, the Nyco chocolate factory, road tripping with Giffy, listening to music, watching Gilmore Girls, watching my blog stats go up and down, wondering why people keep unfollowing me on twitter and the new Cotton On store in the middle of town ($10 fur lined bootie slippers? Hells yeah!)
And you? How is your list o’love looking today?

- Being in a work place with colleagues who trust and appreciate me
- Planning crafty stuff, it’s almost as good as having completed it. Almost.
