Movies I saw on holiday

Tron: Legacy

We saw this on the Friday before Christmas in a group. I was really quite drunk from cocktails and my stomach was trying to deal with the rich dinner I’d just eaten so I’m the first to admit that I wasn’t in the best possible space to watch this film. The good things about Tron: it was pretty, the girl lead was great and I liked the Daft Punk soundtrack. The bad things: It was dull, it had no story and the lead actor was kind of…not interesting. I slept through some of it, and I woke up and the same stuff was happening.

This is the best movie I’ve seen in a while. I know I talked about it before but it bears repeating. It’s properly released now so you should totes go and see it and you should take little children with you if you have them because I think they’ll really like it too. I am going to go and see it again I think.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

This was…fine. I enjoyed it while we were watching it, but I forgot we’d seen it at all for about 24 hours. It was pretty close to the book, and I liked all the Eustace is a dragon stuff. But it lacked something…the X factor maybe. Like, it was good but it wasn’t great. It was enjoyable but I have no desire to watch it again. In conclusion, it was fine.
